Coastal Recording is owned and operated by Chris Mezzolesta, a musician and producer newly arrived in coastal North Carolina after over 20 years in the music business in Cleveland and Northeast Ohio. Chris's musical credits include performances with the Cleveland Jazz Orchestra, Kenley Players, and top area showbands Special Blend and Special Effect. His production credits include CDs by The University of Akron Jazz Ensemble, Youngstown State University Jazz Ensemble, comedy band Power Salad, and the musical groups of St. Joan of Arc Church in Chagrin Falls, Ohio and Mentor United Methodist Church in Mentor, Ohio. Chris's "Power Salad" recordings have been played on comedy radio programs across the country, including the nationally syndicated "Dr. Demento Show". |
